“Many a man proclaims his own steadfast love, but a faithful man who can find?” -Proverbs 20:6- . I want to kick off this gratitude season by cheering loudly for my guy. 💞 Here’s why: October was the busiest of our 17 married months, hands down. And when time was lacking, when joy wasn’t natural, and when compassion took effort, he put the work in. I love the above verse because it always makes me think of D. Anyone can proclaim that they love God, cherish their wife, run after holiness, and other good things... he just shows up. Often unnoticed by others, he is quietly faithful to me, his Father, and the tasks he’s been given. . Which is why I have to get loud on his behalf, yeah? ☺️ Looking forward to learning from him for countless more months. #getaftergrateful #llewcrewlife

Think I’ll try something new and join in on #fridayintroductions today! 👋🏻 Here’s me in my car between class and work, which I thought perfectly described my life as of late. I’m a full-time student, nanny, youth leader, wife, dog momma, and around here & on my blog ➡️ a writer. . Aside from all my ‘hats’, here are 3 fun facts about me! 1) If I can be home, I’m home. I LOVE traveling when possible, but other than that, I organize my life around being home as much as possible. I recharge & get creative there! 2) I’m a huge fan of cold temps, snow, and my favorite: rain. Fall and winter & all the coziness, warm drinks, holidays, sweaters... I’m getting excited just typing that. 😂 3) I have three tattoos! ‘Proskuneo’, a Greek word meaning ‘worship’ and ‘profound reverence’ to remind me that I was created to make it all about Jesus. My other two are in honor of some of my favorite people! One is a sister tattoo (@gracebuckk), and the other is for my two best friends since middle school (@itsamanduh_joy + @brookesafley). . Winston is ONE today! 🎉 I cried the second D walked through the door with our tiny pup (swipe to reminisce), and I cried yesterday when he told Winston, “Today’s your last day as a baby!” 😭 . In between those two times, though, all I‘ve done is laugh. This mug brightens our days and teaches us patience and is the sweetest snuggler. 💙🐾 #winstonllew
